My first job taught me to never attach your worth to your job. Very valuable lesson for me early and changed my entire approach to working.
I still work hard, but I also understand that there's many variables at play when it comes to business.
Also, sometimes you get caught up caring about things that normally wouldn't make you move. That was me. I made it to what some consider the top and hated it.
So, essentially, all of that work was done in vain? That's one way to look at it. But I took it as a lesson to lead my life with as well forevermore.
